Next Steps

Prep Team is where everything begins and ends. This is the team that transforms a high school intended for students into a church for life-change. We work hard to set up and tear down because we know every week there are lives, families, and eternities forever changed here.

WayKids is the place where foundations are laid for life-change through fun games, relevant curriculum, and amazing World Changers. If helping kids understand who Jesus is and how He can change their lives gets you excited, this is the team for you.

We are passionate about creating great street-to-seat experiences for everyone who attends Waymaker.Church each Sunday. We want everyone to feel welcomed, known, and cared for. Every smile matters! The Host Team includes the Parking Team, the Greeter Team, the Coffee Team, and the Usher Team.

Production is on the frontline of everything that happens on Sunday mornings. We have the privilege of working with video, audio, and lighting to create engaging environments for our Sunday morning gatherings and our online experience. Whether you are experienced in production or have never worked in technical areas before but are excited to learn, this is the team for you!

Waymaker Worship exists to make a way for the new and deeper with Jesus Christ through worship. We believe that we are on the frontline of what our church is learning and have committed to sending our praises ahead of, declare truth over, and magnify the Lord in it all. He is great and greatly to be praised!

We believe that community and connection are vital parts of our walk with Jesus. We are passionate about moving people to intentional community because we believe it is impossible to follow Jesus alone. Our Group Leaders lead people to new and deeper levels with Jesus through our Community Groups.

Campus Safety is a team of people who have a heart to serve others through safety and security. We exist to provide safe and secure environments that allow our guests to worship distraction-free.

Waymaker.Church's Creative and Communications Team is full of all types of artists, from graphic designers to carpenters, painters to poets, photographers to marketers. Together, we inspire each other to take risks and dream big dreams, all in expectation that what we create would make a way for people encounter Jesus.

Every day a growing number of children wake up wondering where they will sleep, what they will eat and who, if anyone, will love and care for them. Mosaic is our local response to adopt, foster, and serve the often-forgotten children in our community. If you are excited about serving these children as well as foster families, then this team is for you.

We are passionate about seeing 5th-7th grade students decide to believe in and follow Jesus and serve Him in their own fun and age-appropriate environment. We want each student to understand that they are deeply loved and incredibly valuable through personal relationships, engaging teaching, and tailored worship. World Changers make MIDWAY a place that students feel safe, loved, and excited to come back!

WayYouth is a weekly Wednesday night environment for 8th-12th graders. We believe students can and will rise to change their communities when they encounter Jesus and His life changing presence through worship, teaching, and small groups. World Changers set the tone for the evening, engage students in conversation, and help create an environment where students can go to  new and deeper levels with Jesus.

Our World Changers are just that, World Changers! Our World Changer Care Team is committed to serving those who serve our body by providing various breakfast options. This team prepares these options as well as serves and greets world changers as they come into our World Changer Lounge.
