AUDITIONS

Thank you for your interest in joining Waymaker Worship! We are excited to help you take your next step in serving at Waymaker.Church. Below are the three steps that you will need to take in order to begin your audition process.
GO TO DISCOVER SERVING

You will need to take our Discover Serving class that is offered in person on Sunday mornings. Once you have taken this class, the application will be sent to you.

APPLY FOR WAYMAKER WORSHIP

After you attend Discover Serving, you will receive a specific ministry application. If you have any questions about this, please email auditions@waymaker.church.

CREATE YOUR AUDITION VIDEO

You will notice that the last question on the application will ask you copy and paste a link to your video audition. This video audition is required and must be included in your application. Below are some guidelines for the video.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:

  • Select one of the songs below specific to the instrument/position you are auditioning for.  Please do not link a song that is not on this list. 
  • Include this song only; please do not submit a link to an entire church service or full band, live performance.  
  • Make sure your instrument/vocals are at the forefront of the mix.
     
  • Upload your video to YouTube.  You can set your privacy settings on your video as “Public” or “Unlisted.”  
  • “Unlisted” videos can only be viewed by those with the link.   
  • Do not select “Private” as we will not be able to view it, even with a link.   
  • Copy and paste the URL of your video to the application.  

PREFERRED VIDEO GUIDELINES:

  • Submit a video of which you are the focus.  A video of just you is preferred over a video of a live performance.  
  • Make sure your video is recent; we want to hear the most accurate and up-to-date representation of you!
  • Click track in the video is preferred, but not required.  

SONG LIST:

If you are auditioning for vocals and an instrument, you only need to submit one video of you doing both. Please select from the songs listed for the instrument you are auditioning for instead of the vocal list.
