YEAR END GIVING.

At Waymaker.Church, we have a calling to develop high-capacity and high-character leaders for the church, community, and nations. This has been made even clearer through our 25 Initiative: a vision to see 2,500 goers sent across the US and the world, 250 of those to unreached people groups, and 25 church planters and their teams in the next 25 years. 

After setting out on this vision, we had one more question to answer. What do we do after we have developed these men and women and sent them out? We realized that we had a strong conviction to continue connecting with and developing these men and women as they build the Kingdom of God worldwide. So, we launched the Ten2Network this year. Why Ten2? It comes from the verse Luke 10:2: 

"The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." 

The heartbeat of the Ten2Network is this: We want to leverage whatever God gives to our church: influence, resources, time, and leaders, to see God's Kingdom built around the world. The Ten2Network was created to help "sent" leaders thrive and help new leaders plant. 

This means that once we develop an individual or group of people, we will continue to help support them through accountability, resourcing, and practical and spiritual consulting. This also means we will help launch new church plants financially and developmentally because we know new churches reach new people. In addition, we will create advocacy teams for, and resource, long-term missionaries in other nations. So, what's next for Waymaker.Church?

1. The culture of "go" and "send" must grow in our church.

2. We must grow in our radical generosity. There is great spiritual work that God has called us to do, and it will take all of us to see more people sent out to spread the good news of Jesus. 

Waymaker.Church will continue to fund the Ten2Network through regular tithes and offerings in the years to come. For Giving Tuesday and our year-end giving this year, we will have a special designation because our goal is to raise $300,000 by the end of 2024!
