FOR LYNCHBURG SERVICE WEEK
May 30-June 5, 2026

May 30-June 5, 2026

On Saturday from 9 am-5 pm, we get the opportunity to share the love of Jesus and build relationships with students in our community at Football Fest! We will spend the day at City Stadium hosting a one-day football tournament for 10–18-year-olds. Volunteers for this event will be able to come alongside us as team coaches, referees, and more.

Our schools are a critical part of our community. We have the opportunity to spend the day at a local school helping beautify their campus. The morning session will meet at Waymaker.Church at 8:30 am and serve from 9 am-1 pm, and the afternoon session will meet at the school and serve from 1 pm-4 pm.

We’d love your help in making this special night possible! Join us in serving foster care, kinship, and adoptive families by helping create a fun, welcoming, and relaxing environment for everyone who attends. Whether you’re assisting with food, supervising bounce houses, helping with activities, or simply offering a warm smile, every role helps make the evening meaningful. Come be part of a night that supports and encourages families in our community!

Park View Community Mission is well known for providing food and clothing for those in need. We are partnering with them to work with their Food For Families program to minister to and meet the needs of families in Lynchburg. The morning session will meet at Park View at 8:30 and serve from 9 am-11:45 am, and the afternoon session will meet at Park View and serve from 11:15 am-2:30 pm.

Our local first responders risk their lives and mental health every day to keep our communities safe and thriving. We get the chance to give back by hosting and serving at a night out for them and their significant other/spouse. We will serve dinner and host a comedy night with a former police officer turned comedian. We will also be providing childcare. We will meet at Waymaker.Church at 4:30 pm and serve from 4:30-9:30 pm.
