At Waymaker.Church, we make radical giving a way of life because we believe increased generosity leads to increased impact.

The Waymaker Fund was started in 2020 as God began to stir a greater depth of generosity in the hearts of our leadership. This fund is what fuels the ministry of Waymaker.Church. Through your giving, lives are transformed, marriages and families are restored, leaders are developed and sent out, authentic and intentional community is created, and there is an outpouring of generosity that we can give to the greater Lynchburg area and beyond.

BUILDING LIVES

Building lives is about creating experiences where people can encounter Jesus and leave transformed by His love and sacrifice. In 2020, despite a global pandemic, we have seen 80 people choose to believe in and follow Jesus, and 30 people have shared their story of transformation in baptism. Imagine what God will do in 2021 through our increased generosity!

BUILDING FAMILIES

We desire to see families whole, healthy, and thriving. Whether it's equipping engaged couples for the journey ahead or mentoring those who have been married for years, we believe a healthy home starts with a healthy marriage. We have seen so many marriages restored this year. You can check out Kenny and Amanda’s restoration story here. In addition, the Waymaker Fund will provide meals and bags with much-needed items for the many foster children and families in the greater Lynchburg community. Through the Waymaker Fund, we want to help not only serve Mosaic families but help serve families who may lose their children due to financial hardship.

BUILDING LEADERS

Our world and the greater Church need high-character and high-capacity leaders to guide them into a greater future. There is too much at stake in our times to not have the quality of leaders needed to meet those demands. Waymaker.Church is at the forefront of developing these leaders through Next Level Leadership, Waymaker Institute, and other leadership initiatives. In 2019, we sent out two church leaders who are now serving the Church in a different state. To date we have seen 80 students come through our development programs.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

Building community is two-fold. Here at Waymaker.Church we are passionate about moving people toward intentional community because it is impossible to follow Jesus, and do life, alone. This year, we have launched over 30 groups where marriages are built up, people’s lives are transformed, and people experience true redemption and freedom from sin-cycles. The second part of building community is outreach. Waymaker.Church does outreach through three main avenues: Local, Mosaic, and Global. Through the Waymaker Fund, we will be able to show compassion and generosity in our local community, through our foster care ministry, and globally through our partnership with organizations and missionaries in other countries.
